InnSane

Well, only breakfast left tomorrow. Then Tish and Eliot will leave, sigh, and all these wonderful students and Barbara, the instructor, will all be gone.

Tonight I made Italian stuffed peppers with a spicy chick pea and egg plant stew over jasmine rice. Just a touch of rice. For salad I made a roma tomato salad. Very Italian and very fresh. I also created a fruit medley with buckwheat honey and low fat yogurt. Some people requested without the yogurt and honey. I made bread sticks for the bread. I put in the cinnamon, cumin and the coriander that was in the chick pea stew. Nice touch that.

We made some friends and had fun. I spent a bit of time in the kitchen but had the time to smooze and take a great nap today. Poor Kim didn’t get a nap but at least she gets her blow drier back. The class borrowed it to dry their watercolor paintings.

Tomorrow, a new blow drier. 😉

Kim worked hard and she helped me plate the main dish. Kim took a walk with Tish around the grounds and discussed arrangements with our new gardener. She’ll have to write about that, though.

OK. Time for bed. I got up today at 4:00 AM. Couldn’t sleep. The nap came in handy.
