Here’s a picture of the guy that helps me prep in the kitchen. He’s very good. So, when you eat our gourmet delights, thank him in your hearts.
Hello, I’m the Greenville Arms
I’ll put more pictures of the staff. It isn’t just John, Kim and me. We have a large staff to see to your needs and desires. Dishwashers, chamber maids, cooks, and more.
It will nice to see more pics. I thought you, Kim and John were maintaining the Arms. It would also be nice to see a pic of a typical guest’s room. -cm

And John is John Delteur, whose father Clem, called up my father, your Uncle Vinnie, to start a restaurant the Chanteclair. I’m sure you must remember it. It was in 1958. John was working as a waiter here when we bought the place. We didn’t realize the connection until six months after we’d been operation. Both John and I were telling the same story about the Chanteclair. A guest said, “Hey, both of your families couldn’t own the same restaurant, etc.” But indeed we did.
So, Kim and I keep the place up with help from a large staff. We have quite a number of people on the payroll.
Wow, beautiful classy rooms at very reasonable prices!
I’ll ask my father if he remembers Clem. That was almost 50 years ago! I remember when your dad was on Joe Franklin’s Memory Lane promoting the Chanteclair. I wonder if those tapes are still around. -cm
Wow, I’d love to get a copy of that. Funny, huh? I remember all those Thanksgivings over Grandma and Grandpa’s. Especially those passit games.
Sure. I’m sure Uncle Freddy remembers. Say hi for me and Kim.
You’ll have to come visit.
I will say hi to my parents. My father is going to be 84 this year. Hard to believe he and my mom is older than grandma and granpa was.
I contacted the Joe Franklin producer today. He wrote back:
The Best of Joe Franklin will be released in Dec. 2006. Unfortunately shows prior to 1987 do not exist in our collection due to the fact that the TV station rerecorded over the old shows to save money. What a tragic loss to us all. If you’re in NYC, come to Joe Franklin’s Comedy Club, 761 7th Ave. at 50th Street. 2 shows Fri. & Sat. nights only. Joe is usually there at the club.”
