A sweet and colorful week with Liz Kenyon has just completed. Liz was teaching a pastel still life workshop and her favorite subject matter is desserts!
These are just some of the mouth-watering paintings done by the students.
Just as scrumptious was the trays of soft pastels.
Not be out done in the matter of desserts — here is the dessert served on the final night, a Dacquoise. It is a hazelnut meringue with a cream filling.
Meanwhile, outside around the grounds of the inn, the clematis are flowering and everything is becoming green, green, green!
Currently in-house is Leah Lopez, who is teaching a oil painting still life and landscape workshop.
Next up is Painting in Nature’s Studio, an outdoor watercolor workshop with Tony van Hasselt.
