By Air

We recommend flying into Albany International Airport (ALB) in Albany, New York. From here you can rent a car from any of the major companies including Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, or National/Alamo. From there, follow the driving directions from Montreal starting at heading south on the New York State Thruway I-87.

If you are flying into the the United States from out of the county, it is best to book a connecting flight from a larger airport in New York City or Boston to Albany. As opposed to arranging ground transportation from those larger airports.

Please note that if you are visiting us to attend a Hudson River Valley Art Workshop, it’s not often but occasionally workshops are canceled either due to low enrollment or circumstances outside of our control. Should this occur, we will let you know as early as possible – however we do recommend purchasing cancellation insurance for non-refundable airline tickets.

Taxi Service from Albany, Hudson, or Cairo
