Of all the seasons of the year, my favorite is Autumn, and in the Hudson River Valley you have not only the gorgeous changing leaves, but the challenges of pumpkins, gourds and squash of all shapes, sizes and colors, along with colorful corn and dried flowers.
Working from life, we’ll draw and paint these objects, working with interesting triads and watercolor techniques. We’ll explore a range of pens, pencils and other drawing tools to create rich studies in the colors of Fall. Weather permitting, we’ll also work in the gardens of the Greenville Arms 1889 Inn.
